Law of Love
God is Love – 1Jn. 4:8 – Everything God does is expressed through his love.
God’s Love does not change – Hebrews 13:8
God’s love reaches out because he is not willing that any perish – 2 Peter 3:9.
God’s Love is transparent and revealing – 1 Jn. 1:5
There is no contrast between God’s anger and his favor because his anger is only for a moment and his favor is for a lifetime. – Psalm 30:5
Isaiah 40:28 - God’s love for mankind can be seen in his creation of them being made in his image and likeness (Gen. 1:26). His love does not faint or grow weary
God’s Love is manifested through his Son Jesus (Jn. 3:16)
Jn. 14:26 – God’s Love is manifested through the Holy Spirit
1 Jn. 4:20 – God’s Love is not based on initial reciprocation because he loved us first.
1 Jn. 5:3 – God’s Love does not put on a person more than they can bare (1 Cor. 10:13)
God’s Love guards hearts and minds with his peace – Phil.4:6-7
God’s Love does not bring condemnation (Jn. 3:17)
God’s Love makes provision for all of our needs (Phil.4:19)
